In the first photo the Gebirg is wearing the pre/early war "bombay bloomers" the shorter versions seen in the later photos are the Bombay's tailor cut by British units a lot shorter which as you can see was done quite often. Don't fall into the trap of buying any other shorts from WPG/SOF ...
