6 x 30 binocular cover
Saw once a very nice field made cover for 6 x 30 german binocular
at Grigsby Militaria website. I´d like to make one of these by my own
and wonder if anyone has a pattern?

Re: Two intresting SS Nord photos
Hmmm, yes I know about the ear flaps down in – 35 C!! Worthless without the "Oma" touque - brrrrr :? I just think it looks like another garment upon the caps, like a rolled Oma or something. Yes, the curved-up toe boots are very nice. I use them myself, both made of pure leather and a mixe...

Re: Two intresting SS Nord photos
There are something special with the M43 caps of the first picture too.
It seemes like the men are wearing something like an extra wool "bandana" to protect from cold.
I have never seen it before. There are even SS-eagle insignia attached.
Have you some oppinion about this?
Franz?

Aha, so that´s why.
Strange though because my order is so old (2008).
Something must have gone wrong.
I will try to reach him...
Thank you for info.

Zeugmeisterei ?????
Over one year ago I ordered a pair of SS wendehosen (winterparka trousers) from Thomas.
I newer had any answers or confirms on my order during this year.
Is he still in business after selling some of his products thru the Panther Store?

Re: Wintercover for M43 Bergmutze
Thank´s for the quick response and nice pictures!
I will ask Oberjäger Pühle about the cap cover.
Outside my window in north Sweden the first snow is falling.
Time to hit the ski tracks again im Urwald!

Wintercover for M43 Bergmutze
I´m looking for a copy of the white poplin/cotton winter cover that was used
to camouflage the M43 bergmutze by Gebirgsjaeger in the arctic region.
Can it be bought or is there a pattern for making it somewhere?

Anyone with experience of this very good german tailor? I have two M43 Einheitsmutze from him. One size 60 and one 59. The 60 is a bit too large during summer but good at winter wearing the "oma" head scarf. The 59 is just a little to small even for summer. I know it´s possible to shrink w...

Wrap Puttees / Wickelgamaschen
I am looking for Gebirgsjaegers Wrap Puttees / Wickelgamaschen.
There are some swiss army ones to find, but without the right hooks.
Is there a good repro somewhere, or is there repro hooks to buy?

Re: Soldier of Fortune – German reenactors do beware
I did start this thread because of my disapointment with SOF that really left me out when I needed help with wrongly delivered stuff. With no comment, just telling me to send back for refund... They print one camo pattern and deliver another and after that they can´t stand for it and blame on misund...
