If it is any consolation I don't think John is a theif, however he is poor at dealing with people who are essentially paying customers. Previous comments made on this thread were deleted as they were considered to be malicious, however it would seem that the problems remain. Maybe they were posted ...

I also have a pair of the Epic boots, skipped the wire wool and vinegar method too, used dylon first then black polish and dubbin.... seemed to work well enough!

I am said boot owner.....and Graeme did a great job on fixing the boots. I have to admit otherwise t he boots are pretty good.....just so happened I was in LA on business and got in touch with SMW so I could go get the boots personally....saved a lot on shipping and taxes.....but seems a lot of that...

Great show thoroughly enjoyed it - weather was fantastic, although that did make it more than just a bit sweaty!!!

just bought an mp34 , beautiful wood work and well looked after , now having owned these but never opening up the aperature on the butt plate, i discovered on doing so a bolt with a screw top and on twisting releases a spring can sone one advise me exactly what i am looking at and it functionality ...
