Re: MG42 firing rate

I owned an MG-42 for six years, an original in 8mm Mauser. With hot ammo it ran at 21 rounds per second. It ran a little slower with 1970's Romanian 8mm ammo.

Re: Fuel mixture for DKW

I have a 1939 DKW 3PS. Modern oils for two cycle engines are vastly improved over the old oils, so much so that I use a 1:40 ration instead of the original 1:25. Also, use non-oxygenated gasoline (92 octane). Avoid the oxygenated petrol. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg225/DARIVS_ARCHITECTVS/Pa...

Re: Das Kleine Wunder!

Yes, they are GREAT fun. Tell us more about the Wanderer SP1. It looks even lighter than the 3PS. What is its maximum speed, how many cc's, how much does it weigh? I have never seen one before. Excellent little motorrad! We're really lucky to have these.

Das Kleine Wunder!

It was restored most of the way by it's original owner in Czeck Republik and completed by myself. Now it's home is Anoka, Minnesota. Thi...
