...of all strange things that happen, found genuine issue rubber soled Finnish boots, from a shop in Finland.

Still after Lapp boots if anyone has seen any or knows of a pair for sale.

After a good pair of repro. jackboots....WW1 German, WW2 German or WW2 Russian (in order of preference)
Leather soled if possible.

Also after Finnish Lapplander boots

Size needed is 8UK (42)

ONLY DO THIS IF THE BOOT IS A GOOD FIT FOR YOUR FOOT You need to get them on in a bath of warm (NOT HOT) water: Allow the leather to soak for about 20-30 minutes, in warm water...you may want to only soak the leg part, or you can do the whole boot...your choice.
