Re: W&P 2012 - Predicatable Swipe at Axis Re-enactors...

I feel (as primarily an Allied reenactor), more alarmed and disappointed by the comments left by "James", than the author of the story.

This "James" states that he reenacts British (does not say what) and dislikes people who reenact "Nazis"...... What a tosser.

FHF Sweden - Roosendaal '44 film

Ok, so there are no German forces in this film, but we are hoping to film our German section at the next event in a similar way. Here is the British section of FHF at a living history tactical event we did in October. The event was based on routines and boredom as opposed to battles. Both British an...

Re: Roosendaal 1944

And here are a couple of photos from the enemy - 2nd Batt. Essex Regt. Not many photos from our side, but we did have a period 8mm cine camera filming throughout the event so we are keeping our fingers crossed on the result! http://i367.photobucket.com/albums/oo120/Maria-Elliott/Roosendaal/F1000011....

70th anniversay of the first "German Train", Sweden

Saturday saw the 70th anniversary of the first "German Train" to pass through Sweden from Norway to Denmark. This was marked by an event at a preserved railway which is on the line used by these trains, with one of the original locomotives that pulled some of the trains. http://i367.photob...
