M35 (59/66 shell) with double-decals and remains of winter camo. Runes decal looks bit big, but it´s by a photo. It has AL liner and metals on chinstrap.

Hallo, as how Menju wrote - it depended on situation... sometimes Bildberichters had film material only in their pockets... but who had the hardest work were Filmberichters, when they carried camera. Heavy thing and predisposed to damages, they had to be very very careful...

why dont wear it, when it was worn and seen on period photos ? but must be correct for period you are portraiting. for example is nonsense to wear TK cuff before 1942... (btw. on 41-42 i wear only SS-KB cuff and horizontal single TK collar tabs as seen on period photo. I also wear Kurt Eggers ct, be...
