In the following link you can find the pictures we did while having a photoshoot at Domein Raversijde a couple of years ago... http://www.panzergrenadier.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=17757 I have a HBT tunic that I've badged to KM, but it is not 100% accurate. (no squared off corners, no fake f...

Re: Photoshoot Domein Raversijde Atlantikwall Museum
thanks everybody for the nice comments!
Yes KM Coastal Artillery is the new fashion for next year
And no, no pohotshop on these pictures, just good camera angles and not to many distracting signs etc...
Maybe we can do a next one with more people, who knows.

Photoshoot Domein Raversijde Atlantikwall Museum
Last Saturday we organised a photoshoot at the splendid museum at Domein Raversijde. We were present as Marineartillerie. We represented two Marineartilleristen from the 6./MAA 204, the soldiers who manned the Batterie Saltzwedel-Neu . We took pictures with the guns, the trenches, life inside the bu...

Re: Gavinmilitaria, any good??
Well, I've ordered twice from him now. He has good uniforms, nice wool and color. As the sizing goes, I've found out that it's best you order one size larger than your actual size (well for me that was the case at least). I've got his M40 Feldbluse and a M41 Drillich. And I must say I'm quite please...

Re: Show us you!
I made the uniform myself by removing the lower pockets of a M40 uniform, added insignia (Gebirgsjäger shoulderboards, KM eagles) and buttons from Epic militaria (painted these feldgrau). I added white between regular Aufklarungs collar tabs to get the KM coastal artillery version. The cap started ...

Re: Show us you!
Yes, that was the unit symbol used by the Marine Küstenartillerie Abteilung 201 that was stationed overthere: http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5308/5658972993_f980654b9b_o.jpg Very nice uniform and cap! Where did you find those? It's also curious to see how the same symbol wasa also used by the Marin...

Re: www.militaryharbor.com
I have ordered a couple of insignia at this shop. Quality is reasonable, but I have seen better ones. He did forget about my order until I sent a reminder, but even then I got my items relatively fast. So for insignia, it's cheap, but relatively good quality, and he replies fast aswell. Hope this is...

Re: KM Kustenartillerie jacket
With regard to the buttons, that's something I noticed when I started studying this stuff  I think it's also mentioned in Angolia Die Kriegsmarine Vol.3 which talks about the Fieldgrey garment, but it's been a while since I took it from the shelf, but i'm not 100% sure. regarding the lenght of...

Re: KM Kustenartillerie jacket
hmmm, this is a topic to my liking  Well as far as we know no-one is making these tunics as a reproduction. As mentioned by Jagdpanther, there were different models, the most common being the Model 40. this can easily be converted from an M40 tunic. As far as my Feldbluse is concerned, That...

Re: Show us you!
Love the early war shots. Very nice. Whats that your sat on in the last pic? yeah, I love the look of the early days as well, and it means we get to win for a change :D and that's a pimped up Breda 20 mm Flak/Pak on a "homemade" pedestal. It's a nice piece of old iron, and still moves, so...
