Re: Photos of the first ten years 1978-1988
Here am I at the Queensland Museum open day 1987, I have blurred the others as I haven't asked permission to publish their faces
Having said that a photo like this was the offical postcard of the A7V for many years.

Re: Show us you!
My beloved Mika and I at History Alive 11 & 12 June 2011.
A timeline event held at an 18th century fort (that's old for us!) at the mouth of the Brisbane river - the PzII nicely counterpoints the gum trees and our late war impressions

Re: Other outfits-impressions??
Ah - the chicken or the egg
The relaxed photo is in front of my group during a lull in a 3 day war over hilly wooded terrain.
The brawl is at the 2 day Abbey Tournament, this year we had 26,000+ visitors I believe.

Re: Other outfits-impressions??
It is great to have a partner who reenacts with you, though sometimes expensive :D Mika and I in our Varangian Guard impressions at the Armidale War 2010 and in action at The Abbey Medieval Tournament July 10/11 2011. Hope to post some nice Russian and Finnish pics of her and I in a couple of weeks....

Re: ANT-Z/ Pirschen- Heer tunics
Stig, Unfortunately you did call me a liar - hypothesis or not - though the apology is accepted. Your bugbear seems to be proof, my bugbear is dealing with people all day over colour - though at least most of them are in a position to realise I am a professional. Sure the internet is impersonal, I d...

Re: ANT-Z/ Pirschen- Heer tunics
OK, first I am sorry you are so jaded by forums, I agree there are a lot of false know it alls and "experts" out there, one very good reason why I very rarely post much. I could go home tonight and copy my Curriculum Vitae, photograph my collection, etc. purely to satisfy your need for me ...

Re: ANT-Z/ Pirschen- Heer tunics
Hi Stig, I won't post pictures simply for the same reasons. Colour refraction works differently on different materials and I am basing the comparison will MY eyes and My tunics. You can never judge these things until they are in your hand, I have spent a lot of money that way over the years so I hav...

Re: ANT-Z/ Pirschen- Heer tunics
I have followed lots of discussions on various forums where people post images to back up the argument that this is the correct colour and so on. I am in the position of being both a reenactor who has in the past owned quite a number of original tunics, etc. and now collects repros - AND a graphic a...

I am keen to buy one too, my original is still ticking but the guilt from wearing it to events is building!
