Re: How did you "earn" your wound badge?

Yes, that was the "good old days" long before health and safety.

Once I recieved burns due to a Molotov Cocktail setting fire to my greatcoat at Tavistock!..... those days haha.

Re: How did you "earn" your wound badge?

Re: Hallo from Germany return to forum :)

Re: Deutsche Reichsbahn impression

How do poeple react in general to the "forbidden symbols" there?
I have discussed this so often over the last ten years, there are several old threads
covering this topic, sorry, I do not wish to go over old ground again.

Re: Deutsche Reichsbahn impression

Very unique and impressive uniform Bill! Would love some Close ups of the buttons. What about the cap and insignia? Where did you get that? It took my about a year to collect the correct insignia on German e-bay, I will post some more pics later. Here is a film clip from our museum in Germany, wher...

Deutsche Reichsbahn impression

My new uniform, German State Railways 1935-1945.
It took me two years research, I had the jacket
made at the tailors from original photographs, the buttons
and insignia are original from 1937.
