Hi, same problem for me and as you know I am a supermod there. We have been having a lot of server problems of late, what with double postings, the white screen of death, etc. I know Seba (the site owner) is moving us over to a new server. Let us hope that is what is happening this weekend. Cheers, ...

Hi Stig, I totally agree with you. Note the British buttons on the buckle retaining tab on the E Bay example. These tend to get left in place unlike the other buttons which were secured by "S" rings.

Hi Guys, great idea for a beer tent uniform. With regard to the history of U Boat denims. The uniform came about due to the stocks of British denim BD blouses captured at Dunkirk. These were then later issued to the KM as it was felt that there was little opportunity of the wearer being mista...

To be honest I never realised that there was any kind of ban on volunteer uniforms being worn at some shows? I have certainly seen them being worn. I could see BFC being a problem (No offence there Bill. Taking from show organisers point of view) but other Western European volunteers, what is...

Gunpics

Hi Guys, this website is ran by a friend of mine in NZ.

http://www.gunpics.net/

The PTRS pictured there is mine

Have a look through the site, there is some great info. Checkout the movie clips. It shows him firing the G43.

I will be there with 2nd Guards. Come along and say "Hello".

If any of you would also like to meet a British Para Pathfinder Vet who fought at Arnhem, my friend Don Turner should be there on one of the days. I will post exact details nearer the date.

  That is really funny I must admit!

The actual explanation is that I was inspecting the ranks and Rob's Gym was scrunched up at the front and I was pulling it down. That is my story and I am sticking to it ....

Hi Guys

Hi Guys, I have finally got around to joining here after reading the forum for a while and being asked to join by some of the regular members here. Many of you will know me, but for those who don't, here is a short intro. I have been a keen German collector for 30 years now. I collect mainly uniform...
