Panther use cotton lining as common for pre 42 tunics, to really produce the norm they need to change to rayon/artificial silk in their M42 tunics

Heard similar things I'm afraid, guys waiting ages and then only getting results when getting through to 'Juan', one of his employees. Seems they concentrate more on the movie business, US military contracts and fashion sales, rather than giving a rat's ass about individuals.

Re: Removing Paint From my Buttons
I cut slits in a large cardboard sheet and lay it over the tunic with the buttons stuck through the slits, saves resewing them at least

For caps I would always recommend GD43, makes them to order exactly as you want. Unrivalled quality!

Ditch the A frame, rarely seen by this point of the war and way too over represented by reenactors. Also paint your belt buckle Otherwise looking good!

Re: best early war heer litzen?
The ones Peiper posted are a fantasy item, 'backed' generic mouse grey tabs hmm. For early war, as opposed to pre-war like the send pair posted, you want the generic 1938 pattern tabs. I use originals, but McFarthingbowls in Belgium is a site I'd recommend for Litzen. This is a pair with backing for...

Re: M40/41 6 Button tunic
It was as widespread an issue tunic as the others regarding units. It wasn't specialised for one particular type of unit or something.
