WH Officer white collars for sale

Hello....well finally I have someone here able to make a very good copy of the German Officer's collar. Here is an example...... I'm selling them for $35US which includes shipping! Not cheap, but they are well made with 3 layers of cotton and with button holes. I found stitching two small metal dome...

Re: Gavinmilitaria, any good??

I would also like to encourage folk look to Gavin or Aviator (Ebay store), for their wool items. Far better quality than other Chinese wool made uniforms. Only thing you have to improve upon is the paint job on the buttons. I think if Gavin changed the sewing cotton colour to the colour Hiki is now ...

Re: Gebirgsjager Anorak

I believe that tan anorak is also from 'Gavin Militaria' or 'Aviator'..... My group uses them..they need a good wash a few times to give a nice aged patina....and if you know how to, a spray of thin watery acrylic paint (and I mean real watery) to add a little age as well. The buttons all need repla...

Re: Who makes the best tunics nowadays,

Re a tunic I know the words 'made in China' brings a shiver....but have a look at the new range of 'Hiki's thick wool made tunics 'improved special ' or some other wording he uses....what caught my eye was the correct 'bright' stitching used on these tunics.or you could get a nice Janke tunic....fro...

Re: Gebirgsjager Anorak

I have an important question. What about the trousers? Are they any good from Gavin? Are they avaible at SAMS? Hi I can answer that question.Yes Gavin or Aviator supplies them. Don't think Sam's Mili has them as yet.... We purchased a few pairs from Gavin's, the overall ( no pun intended) standard ...

Re: Gebirgsjager Anorak

Danke I try to help where and when I can kameraden.....as has been mentioned, the anorak saga needs dealers to 'cut the cloth' correctly and strive upwards as we bergmen do, and get things right from the start. Most think getting the first sale will do....but they forget that that sale will multiply...

Re: Gebirgsjager Anorak

Hello team, In terms of the anorak saga.....I purchased a brilliant one made and supplied by 'Sam's Militaria' in Japan. The sample I have and use in reenacting, is an 'early version' of Sam's. The newer sample, differs in the coloured material and the repro compressed paper buttons are far too small...

Re: Gebirgsjager

Hello, In relation to uniform....a reasonable anorak can be had from Ebay dealer called "Aviator"...replace the buttons...but would say get the next size up from what you use for a tunic. Re a 36 tunic...the Chen 36 is ok, nice thick wool and nice tailoring...colour a bit bright...a...

Re: WHO MAKES A GOOD REPRO WINDJACKE?

On a new tangent...anoraks.....Try the Ebay dealer 'Aviator'......he has finally found a single layer material for his anoraks and matching trousers. The colour is ok....but could be more 'dirty' earth in colour. The buttons...well as per any repro, you throw them away and (make your own-yes make yo...
