Re: W&P 2012 - Predicatable Swipe at Axis Re-enactors...

Eh ???? :? Not getting into a debate mate but your comments seem misguided tbh How could we portray the "REAL" horrors of War as you put it, of course we can't because we are re-enactors, we can only portray the tip of the iceberg, we cant go round re-enacting mock execution squads or han...

Re: W&P 2012 - Predicatable Swipe at Axis Re-enactors...

So, having read the article twice now I'm actually sortof surprised by the reactions here. Honestly I've seen far worse article which would actually deserve the flak you guys are giving it but in this case it was just a general history buff getting some weird vibes from the portrayal of the WW2 peri...

Particularly enjoyed the the evening at the campfire, but does anyone know what the song about the Finnish comrades was called? I believe there was both a German and Finnish version of it...

Re: Re-Enactor Consumer Guide

Yes - I feel it's fair - because you should see better reviews if service etc. have improved and someone reading this should say "I will use them because they got their act together". True enough, I suppose the buyer would first find the webshop and then have a look at this consumer guide...

Re: Re-Enactor Consumer Guide

Oh wow, this is very handy. :D I have two minor nitpicks though :P 1. Is it all that fair to have reviews from 2003 be included in the current score? The quality/service may have improved massively in 8 years time... Perhaps include an option to only draw scores from the last 2-3 years? 2. The sort ...

Re: How to deal with the ignorant public.

Bleh, I hate people doing the Hitlergrüss, but more for another reason. When someone raises his arm at me I instinctively think he's waving at me so I try to wave back, only to then realize it for what it is and look like a complete tool :?

Re: Red Orchestra 2

There is a way to use the native languages, they just haven't been officially implemented yet. Have a look at the Tripwire forums, I'm sure there's a couple of topics about it.

Also, this:

I love seeing crazy bugs :D

http://www.abload.de/img/tanksexnktw.gif Welcome to Finland (just wait the long and dark winter! ;))! I hope we'll see you in Gaissmair Winter Training this year? I hope so, I'll be back home before Christmas though so it won't be during my current stay, depends on how much money I have left near t...

New gameplay footage:

Not much shown here besides 5 minutes of running around, but it gives a nice idea how the interface and maps look.

Re: Oh the times they are a-changing

Times are always changing, it's good that they are, otherwise we'd get nowhere. I feel compelled to give some thoughts from one European (me :D ), because there's been quite a bit of mentioning of the European scene, and to start with, I don't think the comments on how Europe is 'winning' are ...
