I apologize if this is a repeat topic. If so, I'd appreciate a link to the thread. :) I have a plain, basic M36 SS uniform and hat with eagle and totenkopf that I purchased from (I can't remember the name of the shop) on eBay years ago. Now I'm ready to purchase insignias, ranks, medals etc as well ...

Please forgive me, I'm a newbie. I was just wondering if many people had success selling uniforms that they completed themselves? As in, purchasing or sewing a plain uniform and sewing on all the insignias and ranks, pairing with the appropriate hat, belt, and selling it as a set. Just brainstorming...

The hat that came with it does have the eagle up top and totenkopf below already.

I'm a clean slate. I feel like I'm building a character of sorts, but I suppose I could just choose any since I am not fashioning it after a specific historical figure... I will need to research more and post.

A few years ago, I purchased a very nice reenactors reproduction officer's wool M36 SS uniform. No insignias or patches. Recently I've wanted to finish the uniform, but I've really no idea where to begin. I just don't want to end up pairing the wrong shoulder tabs with the wrong collar tabs and etc....
