Would this helmet look too unusual in a Stalingrad event?

I had this ''rope'' and had no other way to keep the white sheet in the helmet, so I tied it. Would this look unusual in a Stalingrad event?

I have a M17 stahlhelm, and was wondering if these were used throughout the war by WH? If yes, then what about Stalingrad?

I didnt drink it, though it is one of the cleanest lakes in Finland, maybe even drinkable :D
