Re: Show your German field equipment set!

Looks great! :D Always nice to see quality late war heer kits. Afternoon, Here is my late war set up, everything is in good condition to represent the 'now-ness' and not that of antique kit. Still need to tweak and change a couple of things: Gasmask canister is 1944 with a 1945 dated latch, simplifi...

Show your German field equipment set!

This is my fieldgear setup for my late-war 1944-1945 Heer Infantry/Volksgrenadier impression. I use a mix of leather and webbed equipment for late war and a green bakelite cup. I will attach a photo of one in use in 1944 for those who are unaware of their usage during the war. Original Items as foll...

Re: 12. SS M44 Feldbluse?

I've seen photos of the 12. SS with them in the bulge. Here's a pic of one being worn by a captured 12. SS soldat in the Ardennes offensive.

Hope this helps! :)

Re: Treating old Leather

I highly recommend NOT using a original canteen strap. They will break. I sadly found that out at my first event. When you run and your flask is full of water it will break. As mine did. I wish I had never used it now
