They are both made for Romania.

These seals are massiove rubber ones. If they are to be remade they will most likely have to glue several layers together. I will try to see if I have a spare one. Vaseline oil might help but if very hard I am afraid you are in trouble.

Mine is excellent. Suggest you get a repairman to look it over. Sounds like a doorstopper…..

The SOM has a very nice image. Together with Huet an Krauss I guess they are safe aquiaitions.....

The spoon. Often missing.

This one is closer but it still does not have the spoon. I think we switched to plastic ones late 60’s or early 70’s. Here are pictures of an original and a post WW2 Norwegian one. As you can see they are copies.
