It seems totally feasible to see SS soldiers using Heer-issued gear. In general I think it's fair to say that there is WAY TOO MUCH camouflage in use at reenactments regardless of impression. The photos show plain fieldgray jackets and bare helmets the majority of the time. Reenactors look like tree...

One of my mates in the airsoft 198th Rifle Division (Soviet, based in Wisconsin USA) is making custom PPSH-41s. Mine is on order and I'm expecting it shortly. I figured this would be a good first post for the board.

Here I am during some downtime at an Osfront-themed airsoft event. The weather was brutal but we had a good time regardless.
