Looking for repro headphone sets and handheld microphones for use with torn fu d2 radio set. I'd like two headsets and two mics. I know several repros have been available and I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction.
Thanks,
Ron

Re: The definitive reproduction wickelgamaschen post
Thank you, Walt. I replied via email. In six months, some new guy is gonna come along looking for puttees and we will have to do this all over again. Can someone post pictures and dimensions of genuine wickelgamaschen so we can at least have some idea what we are looking for? All my searches turn up...

Is there a source for something close that can be correctly modified to be correct? Please post information leading to the acquisition of these items! Thanks, ...

Re: Web Equipment Straps
Frank Barone, here in the US, does fantastic DAK web gear. For a pressed wood canteen, he needs the hardware to make up a web version, but its worth the trouble and half as much as Ostfront was getting (and are out of).

Re: Why Not DAK?
Here on the US west coast, we have LOTS of DAK events. The CHG hosts at least one per year put on by the 21pzr (many of the 12SS guys have secondary DAK impressions). The RPS in Washington state also holds frequent Afrika events, as do we here in Nevada. I'd be happy to share more if anybody is inte...

Re: Gebirgsjäger - "A lttle less Nazi"?
I think you are reading too much into the idea of people thinking they are "less nazi" by choosing one impression or another. Honestly, outside of the German units themselves, most allied reenactors, public spectators and news folks dont seem, in my experience, to know a "nazi" f...

We came to the same solution, I just cant understand why nobody makes it right the first time.
And I am dying to return to the field, Walt. Six weeks more of Las Vegas and then I am a free man!

Reproduction Insignia Authenticity
Am I crazy in thinking almost every piece of repro insignia available online is either wrong in pattern, material, or design? I have studied photos online and in print, as well as sifted through memorobilia with recorded provenance and have yet to see a single metal cap device made of anything other...

Re: Repro shoulderboard numbers & numbered buttons?
As you can see, these are not the slip ons, but they can make them. These are the pictures Frank sent me, I haven't yet received them back, as I am awaiting completion of my cap.

Re: Repro shoulderboard numbers & numbered buttons?
GD43.com does embroidery of shoulder boards, slip on cyphers, etc. I will have my "16" embroidered pionier boards back soon, along with my M42 cap.
