Windhose (overtrousers)
Hello,
I think, a reproduction from a Gebirgsjaegerovertrouser is no longer availabel from Keith from Hongkong. So I`ll try to made it by my own. Do one of you have detailed fotos? I have lots of fotos, but not in detail.
Perhaps one of you can help me?
Thank you very much.

Servus Bergkameraden,
The Windhose are a fairly simple designed overtrouser with an internal belt (much like DAK trousers) and drawstrings at the ankles. Here are some photos of a pair in my collection dated 1944 WIEN:
Here's me wearing a pair of Lost Battalions Windhose...you might want to check with them and see if they have any left in stock...Ed Walton is still selling stuff until the end of January.

Now when HK Keith is gone (for good?), what would be the best source for reproduction Gebirgsäger overtrousers?

Hmmm - we made Ours from pictures of Patricks ones we took in Alps this year and few original ones. No one until Keiths death made them so we decided to deal with the case in such manner;]
Color isnt visible at all couse we were al in mud and water but havent got any better pics. They are of course two-sided.

Re: Windhose (overtrousers)
Hi all,
Has anyone any experience of the windhose produced by Gavin Militaria? Are these the only ones out there these days? I'd also be interested to hear any comments on his windbluse.
Cheers
