true kev but im working on better facilities..they are building a seperate bar/club for re-enactors with cheap beer,films and pool table etc....also looking into showers which are there but need plumbing will keep informed..at the end of the day the more help they get the better.....im trying to sort out mate..

I'm not knocking it as it is certainly a friendly and relaxed little show. However, I was just being honest and letting others know so they won't be too shocked when they turn up (and see you in the yard showering beneath a hosepipe again .)

Sounds like a great little event and anything that can help keep such an establisment runnig has to be a bonus. Wouldn't worry to much about the facilities if its only for a couple of days. Managed to survive at Beltring without a shower and anyway it adds to the combat look. As for the bar, at Levisham the organisers had a large maquee with a bar and seating area and everyone was pleased as punch. As long as theres drinks on hand I'll doubt you'll get many complaints

FORSTLY SORRY FOR NOT BEING AROUND THAT MUCH BUT NEW JOB HAS SEEN TO THAT.

RIGHT..ALLS GOING WELL FOR SHOW AND ALL ON TRACK.THE SITE MEETING IS GETTING TO BE A PAIN TO ARRANGE AS WE ARE GETTING SHORT OF WEEKENDS SO PLEASE DONT WORRY IF WE RUN OUTTA TIME FOR IT.....IT WAS ONLY TO LOOK AT THE SITE ITSELF FOR THOISE NOT BEEN.

THERE IS PLENTY OF SPACE FOR ALL THE GROUPS ATTENDING AND HOPEFULLY SOME NICE KIT AVAILABLE TO LOAN OUT. AS SAID WE WANNA KEEP THIS SHOW AS LAID BACK AS POSSIBLE AND NOT CHANGE THE ATMOS IT HAS HAD BEFORE ALLOWING GROUPS TO RUN THEIR OWN SHOW.

A slight worry is that the East of England Tank Museum's website states they are not open until late 2008.

REF. THE LAST POST THIS IS NEWS TO ME..I WAS SPEAKING TO THE MEASEUM ONLY LAST WEEK AND HAD NO MENTION OF THIS...THE EVENT IS STILL WITH US AND I WILL BE SPEAKING TO THE RELEVANT PEOPLE THIS WEEKEND SO HOLD FAST PEOPLE.
