1938 FBW LKW Diesel German Wehrmacht

Post by West-Front »

No connection with the seller, just another WW2 German MV of interest for sale

E-Bay motors Item number: 170139910523

This RHD 10 ton 1938 Swiss-Built FBW was originally built for the German Wehrmacht and never delivered. It has Notek lights front and rear, semiphores (working, but needing repair) and very discreet turn signals. Other German requirements included the split driver's windshield and the side curtains instead of roll-up windows. It's the first of 4 built. It was part of the Swiss military until the early 1970's and then in private collector hands until 2005. It runs, drives, and stops. The mileage is original, 18,013 km's. 8.5 liter inline diesel, 4 speed manual transmission, and air-over-hydraulic brakes. built-in tool box under seat with other storage as well. Tires are in good condition, with spare. Rear bed is oak with bunk frames in front and seating/storage boxes along the sides to the rear. No canvas top, but hoops are ready to support one. If you have a genuine interest, you're welcome to come see it. Clear Maryland Title.

It's right hand drive and the speedometer is in MPH - this was an export model. Some were made for the Wehrmacht - about 600 or so I believe.
