Seller comes from scooter land and a bloke called spanner is bidding on it. Just gets better all the time... :cry:

Both seller and bidder must be complete morons not to notice the 3 crown buttons and the large stamping inside with the swedish crown.

It's almost worth watching just to see how far it gets before it either gets pulled or sells. Fine for the reenacting fraternity but a bit naughty to imply it is original.

That's my feelings as well, he's written on ebay about it now though.
He doesn't know if it was altered after or during the war :roll: , that would make sense right enough 'cos I imagine it would be quite hard to find a German tunic in the 1940's :lol:

Does that mean he thinks that an original jacket found it's way to Sweden and got covered in Swedish army stamps, and then perhaps at an even latter date - or after lots of weak Swedish beer some yokel put an eagle on the breast? :cry: :cry:
