ok
due to other comitments we have had to change the date for the promotional day to the 28th april

i know this is on the same weekend as the battle
but the abbey council have aggreed for us to be in the high street on this day only due to market arrangements
so if there is any britts or yanks can help out with leaflets please let me know
getting desperate now

the local museum is now involved and we are having activities for the kids now.
the council are now expecting us to make this an annual event in the high street now so may go a long way to securing some funding for the show.
they are now taking the celebrations more seriousely as it brought in a lot of people to the abbey over the ve day weekend

please please help out if you can

ok due to the recent info regarding mr newman

there is booked in a photographer at the mills who is claiming to be a student asking for poses
she seems genuine
i will indeed check her out before she enters the site for pictures
however we have nothing to hide we are here for the celebrations
but must add there will be cameras here all weekend and i do not want any bad publicity

so be on your best behaviour people

Hi Tom

You are WARS members so as it is there are 6 WARS groups attending.

Detling for example Ryan is a WARS group but has his own display not a joint display as a member of WARS you dont have to be a a joint display.

Hope thats cleared up the misunderstanding Tom

hi Tom
Yes of cause your WARS members on what ever display you choose.
Some WARS groups do events with other groups and co-share displays, or if they like do events and displays on their own we are flexible within WARS thats the beauty in joining such a society.

Could only spend two days at the event, but would like to thank Les Hearn and AFRA for their help over the weekend. The displays looked great overall!!

Could have benefitted from more"Joe Public" but, hey, what can you do? Nice and chilled event. The disco was great! Didn't realise there was another side, a Fun-side to those Brit Paras, very enegetic on the dance floor :D :D

Paul Dalby,Bryn,Stig and Karl(and others) did a great job of setting the scene and the pyro.

Thanks again!

Manny
