Greetings from Slovenia!

Post by handschar »

I am a big ww2 airsoft enthusiast, but I do plan to put myself in the deep waters of ww2 reenactement as well (I am a reenactor of the roman legionaire). I have several different outfits for different occasions- I will post some photos so you can see what I am trying to portray :)

Some nice pics
Just a few tweaks here and there, such as get rid of the collar insignia on your shirt,
also the insignia on your camo, this wasn't done normally, also your Italian camo
trousers are postwar colours, these wasn't seen either but apart from that not too bad

Yeah, I know about the insignia, but it can be seen on photos as well that they did such things. Concerning Italian camo I agree- I have a plan to get myself a decent pair of real stuff, but for the airsoft I guess it will do its job :)

Otherwise, Pipes, do you still make the impression of Handschar and Charlemagne?

Hi mate
No but i can put some pics up if you want, i think my webpage is still floating about for
the Charlemagne portrayal, if you type "Charlemagne" on google it should come up.

As for your Charlemagne impression i would get rid of insignia from your peadots, just leave
the sleeve eagle, also most Charlemagne troops wasn't issued the cufftitle anyway except
a few NCO's who went on the Pioneer course were issued them but the Charlemagne and
the rest of the SS never wore cufftitles on camouflage clothing tbh, you may see a few
pics here and there of Officers/NCO's wearing insignia but not very often these are
isolated cases, for the most part, no insignia on shirts or camos apart from arm eagles on
peadots.
