WW2 German Targets
I am looking into making a portable Mock firing range, but cant seem to find info on what British and Germans would use as targets on a range, does anyone have any info on this subject. (i tried google but it just came up with modern stuff)

Re: WW2 German Targets
It might be of some use - RZ Militaria have ( had ? ) a Gebirgsjager target for sale , it was a picture , of an Alpine scene . I've seen others of a similar nature , on ebay . I'm sure the Germans just used " targets " , but I'm also sure they used realistic scenes as well .

Re: WW2 German Targets
Plain targets were used at ranges of 100m, 200m and 300m. 600m was used on occasion for sharpshooters.
Clustered targets were used for machine gunners, and special 50m ranges were for pistols and submashine guns (also 100m used).

Re: WW2 German Targets
Black and white. with fine rings. The black would be the "bulls eye" which is ring 8, 9 and 10. But it depends, sometimes the black part is extended to the 5th ring. But the "bulls-eye" still remains 8 and above.
