I noticed that Epic Militaria sell the M40 and M42 models of helmet.

The big question is, are they any good? As its difficult to tell from one tiny picture on my phone

If they are no good, why not? So I get more of a feel of what is correct for each design.

Hi mate
Repro helmets are more or less the same standard from UK dealers, they are ok,
but if you have the money to spare and want something more authentic try SOF,
they have some restored shells which have been fitted with new liners in the £125-
£165 price range, depending on size/style.
