KM taschenbuch 1944
The former owner served on the hospital ship 'Freiburg',built in 1929 she was an Italian passenger ship Stamira later Stamura.Taken over by KM,she was captured by HMS.Lamerton 1944.After the war she was used by the Greeks, sold and her name changed several times and only scrapped in 1982.I cannot find any picture of her.

There seems to be a Greek Shipping site and a thread that may provide answers:
http://www.nautilia.gr/forum/showthread ... F2-Stamira
To view photos you need to log on the forum, so too with this one: http://www.miramarshipindex.org.nz/ (though this latter one has a 7 day free trial)
Fieldgrau gives the following as well as specs: http://www.feldgrau.com/hs-freiburg.html :
Completed as Italian S/P Stamura; 1937 Stamira; seized by Germans 9.43, into service as the hospital ship Freiburg on 3.5.44; captured 23.10.44 by the British destroyer Lamerton; released back to the Germans 22.3.45; returned 1945 Stamira; 1947 Greek Pireefs; 1948 Elsi; 1958 Elli Toyias; 1960 Elli; scrapped 1982 in Greece.
Good luck
