We were invited to recreate (a small) battle between German troops and partisans in spring 1945. Today it was a warm summer day (not a spring) and for about 1000 spectators we had recreate a battle. Battlefield was nice and we spend an enjoyable day. Usual troops, few friends from Italy. A short but hard battle with some interesting pyrotechnics. After a battle organizers prepared a pleasant fest where our troops enjoyed charming hospitality.

But most impressive was possibility to speak with a veteran of this fighting. He was very delighted to see the recreation of the battle and enjoyed more than a few drinks at the ‘’German’’ table. We had experienced already few times that veterans looks on their fighting in WW2 quite nostalgic. So, see you in the next war…
