Very interesting Beate, breaks the steriotypes. Might see if the girlfriend would be interested in the book, she's into old fashion.

I thought the title was Nazi "chic"... totally disalusioned :lol:

Have you read the "Nazi Chic" book? If so, what was your thoughts on it?

Sorry Chris, just discovered that the link isn´t working for me neither anymore.

As for the book, it is on the "wants-list", but at the moment I am not interested so much in "chic" but the look of a German refugee.

I have the book and I have to admit I was surprised at just how thick it was ... then I realized half of that are sources. ;) I thought it was a pretty dry, dry, dry read. But she's done a lot of research.

It has a lot of info..very well researched! But was honestly a boring read for me!
