The badge worn by the TK guy is the badge of the SA rally at Braunschweig 1931,2nd pattern I believe,it commemorated the 1931 Sa rally for more than 100,000 SA &SS members at Brunswick and was given official recognition on 6th November 1936 as a national award of the NSDAP.

Does anyone know who the HJ RKT is? That is a VERY interesting portrait.

interesting shot of the kid in tropical uniform,wehrmacht volksturm with ss insignia?????
say what??? doesn't make sense?
17 was the minimum age of recruitment into the ss and he doesn't look a day over 15. [were the volksturm short on uniforms or what?]
can anyone grant me some understanding of his possible situation????

Gerd Hein was selected to be the Inspector General of the WEL camp system. Gerd Hein was a Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak leaves award recipient and later, he was promoted to be a battalion commander (Btls.Kdr.) in the 12th SS Panzer Division "Hitlerjugend".
