The link does exist in the sense that Dachau was the original trianing ground and organisational centre for the Totenkopfdivision, along with the fact that there were sometimes staff movements from waffen-ss divisions to the concentration camp guards.

Further progress on the le paradis question is being actively blocked and potential information witheld.
Serious discussion is not possible so I will not be contributing further at this point.

I must admit I am rather surprised that such a topic as Totenkopf, with all the baggage implied, would end up with people disagreeing about 'rule infractions'. The irony has not escaped me, I guess this really is the best forum ever

Anything further that isn't 'on-topic' will be deleted. that goes for "thank you I was right' posts. and 'Yes but I was agreeing with you' posts.

Annoying that I had to wade in but let's think about getting the history right, my guess is that there are members here who have some great info but haven't posted because of all this rubbish.
