Thanks for the nice comments Paulkd , we also hope to add another Borgward later this year too . While not war time they do look the part when painted up and can carry alot of men and equipment.

Glenn
Spring hill , Duncannon and Salute are going to be unbelievable this year , things have come along way here in Ireland as a whole in the last few years and the relentless efforts and persistance has paid off for all involved .

2009 will be a cracking year and a credit to all involved Die Gruppe , SGNord , BGS, Wargroup , Frontline and all those who are pulling together in a united effort to make it all work

See you at the training weekend in April before Springhill

I like Borgwards a lot, what about putting steyer or merc sheet metal on the front end?

I thought about putting steyer tin ware on a unimog!!

Paul me thinks that it would be less of a nightmare to put the tin work on the Borgwards than a Unimog

True, Dave Hucklebridge has a two ton Steyer with drop sides and an enheits cab, its roughly the same size as the old 60's/70's unimog that used to be sooo common!

But your right the borgward has nice bodywork and is closer to the spirit of the Horch etc..
