Woolie socks

I know some groups have very nice ladies that make them for them, I don't have the capabilities of knitting socks yet I'm still working in squares , I also note suesue does the wehrmacht style socks though I haven't seen these other than on the web so no idea on the quality of them (ie are they any good ), does anyone know anywhere that does them ? I'm probs going to have to get propper wool ones (non acrylic) as they'll need to be boiled shrunk for my stumps so any tips on where to get the best socks (feel a right plank asking about socks) would be good.

I've looked further online, think the ones suesue stocks are the same as both Epic militaria and possibly come from the same place. They also look similar to the ones in zeltplane. Anyone know or use any of these socks please ? are they really 100% wool or are they acrylic mix ?

I have some of the socks from suesue. As far as I can make out they are 100% wool. Hope this helps.

I bought a couple of pairs at Beltring this year - The ones made of 100% wool £5 a pair - very nice and £4.50 quid cheaper than RAU but probably the same onesas they do look the same
