2cm FLAK M38 unknown bits

Post by dejan »

Recently i got from military surplus interesting canvas posters used in Yugoslav army in fifties for some sight align and adjustment.
Yugoslav army used many M38 2cm German AA guns four barrel and single barrel versions ,they been used in reserve units up to seventies.
So anyone having more info about use of these posters please send explanation.
Writing is on SerboCroatian language, where CEV=BARREL, writings near crosses in upper corner say: NIS.SPRAVA=AIMING SIGHT. DURBIN=MONOCULAR. GRUBI NISAN=COARSE SIGHT

20mm PAV TOP= ANTIAIRCRAFT GUN. CETVOROCEVNI=FOUR BARREL

Poster is made of high quality canvas and is in mint condition.
Small poster is for single barrel M38.

Right , this is a guess , based on my experience with firearms . Looking at the two posters , are they maybe ways of zeroing weapons initially ? At short ranges , align the barrel , and then the various sights...you can then calibrate longer distances using the devices themselves. Or they might be a way of training complete beginners , as above ?

This might be b******, but I thought I'd take a punt ..

Just find out use of these "posters"
Here is purpose and explanation from German manual.

Plates are used for checking and adjusting the line of sights and the barrels of guns (f.e. parallelism) - in German the plates are called "Justierbild".
The plates are placed 50 m from the gun and aimed at optically with the different sights. The direction of the barrels is checked with a bore sight (Ziellinienpüfer).
I add the Justierbild of the Vierling for comparison (taken from the manual).
