Re: Ford V3000s
There is lots of evidence these trucks were made in ww2 by the SAF firm for the Germans up to 20 completed trucks a day and 370 in one month in June 1943
I have also found a French publication stating the built from 41-44 and the deinstvorschrift made by the Germans for the French four speed v3000
So they existed
I now have this truck and am in the process of restoring it interestingly the cab is listed as different to the german made ford in the deinstvorschrift so it has a different cab to the Koln ones, the chassis numbers are in different places to the koln ones and mine corresponds to the numbers in the deinstvorschrift I have even found a picture of one as a wood burner I thought only the Germans built holtzbrennerfahrzeugen?
My point is no one really knows and I would not put it past the French to lie about industrial collaboration during the war after all Germany was winning until 43 and they were occupied so what else could they have done

Re: Ford V3000s
The stihl typpenschild was a blag by a dealer to add provenance
But it turns out they were made and mine has F198t on the chassis and a 1941 dated axle so the blagger should have looked a bit harder lol

I hope your vehicles are all according to regulations. I'll be round with my vehicle inspection check-list at W&P next week to ensure they are being looked after.
