Post by littletankman »

Hi has any one seen the World Wide Arms German WW2 lafette tripods for the MG42 . They look re painted but claim to be wartime with possibly some Yugo parts .

thanks Andy

I asked them this year at stonleigh about there 34's and 42. the question was where were they sourced form?, I was told that it was none of my business to have that information, so I personally would buy from them anyway. secondly IMHO they are too cheap, current price is about £1500.00 for a good 42 laffette

I might be willing to part with mine - MG42 lafette with makers code and waffenamt's, stripped down and repainted Dunkelgelb with reproduction carrying straps. PM me if you want some pictures.

I've got one that came from Norway so is completely original. The WWA ones are Yugo, and in my experience only a few bits are wartime. They can be a bit of a mess and not really worth the trouble. No range plate etc etc
