Here are the latest additions to my small Rommel collection. Can anyone read and translate what is written on the backs.
Thanks.

I think the first section on 2 of them reads Der Feldmarschall
The first text looks like the description of a place, and its location, so figuring this out could help
The second looks like a list of the people present in the photo, again the mention of feldmarshal rommel is there but it is further down in the text
The second to last I am not sure about, could again be a description on the scene, rommel is mentioned but the word before looks like it could be a shortend form of feldmarschall
The last one agin seems much like the first, a description of who and where it was taken.
Hope this helps, my german is very rusty, but I am used to reading old english script documents, not sure if this is sutterlin either, the writing style isnt flowing enough, i suspect this may just be standard german script in very squiggally hand writing.

having compared this with sutterlin, I suspect this is standard german, I cant read Sutterlin to save my life, I can read this, even tho i have little idea what it says

Himmel Soldaten

It's definitely Sütterlin, just lazy Sütterlin, if not it's some kind of transitional script. Checkout the 'h', the thing that looks like a joined up 'f' and the 'e' that looks like a 'n', there are countless similarities but it's hard to define with the smooth apexes and shoulders that shouldn't exist.

cou be later sutterlin, I know it did change somewhat, the later transitional stuff is far easier to read than the rest. My knoweldge of german text is based only on what i have seen and attempted to read before, so someone may know better.
