Haven't got any, not been daft enough to earn one.........yet
However, I can see Gren Martens point, in that, by mid to late war your typical "old salt" would have a certain amount of awards on his tunic. Their tunics were their Badge of Office.
How could they expect respect from their kammeraden if they had not been awarded any awards..!?
So, for an officer or senior nco, it would be correct to wear awards.
On the other hand, the hobby has self-policed itself fairly rigorously in the last few years. To the point where you're seeing guys wearing hardly any awards, through strict group control. Again, not a bad thing, and a point of view that I respect greatly. I feel great pride in the few awards that I wear, knowing how I have achieved them.
So, two sides of the 'argument' to be considered. And, in spite of what my preference is, if the impression warrants it,and it looks the part. Then I'll never scorn the wearing of these awards.
