Aren't they the ones that Richard stocks? If they are.. They are close to, if not the most comfortable footwear iI have ever owned. They have de laminated a bit but a bit of glue sorted that and considering that I don't only wear my pair at events but to and from and also occasionally out and about, they have stood up pretty well. I'd certainly recommend them. No I don't get a percentage :-)

They are expensive, but they are also very nice.

Knowing how much time and manual labour goes into boots like these, I wouldn't say the are over priced however.

Can I echo Kurt koniger , and say also how comfortable they are . I've hiked and climbed extensively with mine in all terrains , bogs , granite , mountains , snow , for 18 months now , and they are almost as good as new . Yes , they are the ones that Richard Underwood stocked , but as to price - £230 direct from the supplier ? Expensive ? No , I don't think so , not for handmade boots , as Graeme Mac said , look how much hand made boots and shoes cost . It's a regular subject on this forum , but you get what you pay for .

You might feel that they are expensive until you've had what is arguably the most inportant piece of your kit iin them for 18 hours. I know people who have gone the cheaper route and suffered quite horribly. They also look the nads, where as I feel ( although probably perfectly adequate ) the SM ones don't look quite as good. It may be apearant that I'm a huge fan. I can honestly say "I've had less comfortable slippers" O.K where's my free pair? A pair of the GJ ones with the teeth please

I still have a pair of Joky's lowboots wich I purchased 3 years ago. Me and 3 of my friends have these. Whilst advertised as having both stitched and pegged soles, whilst they are not stitched. My boots are still broken and I'd like to know if Joki can fix this error for us as it is annoying paying good money and boots breaking at the heels. It's not sturm because out of experience we knew to invest in good footwear. Only after my comment of boots having no stitching you inplemented something that is designed to look like a all around sole stitch. But I can't just open up somebody's new boots to see if the problem is really solved.

Pictures can be seen here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=13984&hilit=JOKI+BOOTS&start=45

Mr Joki, what is your answer to this? Either produce a solution through private message or in this topic.

Your FJ and GJ boots seem to from very decent quality.

On the extreme opposite of climes, I just took delivery of some lovely DAK boots from Mr Joki. Top quality, great service - highly recommended. 8)
