Re: Helmet Camouflage database
I´ve red, that on some photos was camo like that added only for Kriegsberichter, to add better feeling to photo - and lets say, soldiers are looking much cooler with camo like that
(maybe solution on some cases)

Re: Helmet Camouflage database
Are you putting this up as an original wartime pic? I have to say it looks a bit dubious? Where's his chinstrap? Is that blurred bit over his ear a bit of afro-type hair poking out??
Be interested to see other comments, especially if somone can identify the source...

I have seen goatees on many WW2 pictures. Gebirgsjägers, HEER and Waffen SS soldiers.

Ssssshh!!! Keep it to yourself.I have seen goatees on many WW2 pictures. Gebirgsjägers, HEER and Waffen SS soldiers.
I would expect the chinstrap to be over the peak but I just can't see it, the line is the seam or fold in the material methinks? And what is the fuzz by his ear???
One of the oddest unposed pics I've seen on here (not counting pics taken with stuffed bears and the like, they are posed)
Edit: Imme - Do you have a link to the footage this was taken from, it would probably answer my questions!
