Bloody hell - somebody has the brass neck to steal that!? What are they going to do with it? Can't sell it, drive it or show it anywhere?

Lot of weight for scrap or even stolen to order to be broken down and shipped overseas would be my guess.

FFS!

Having anything nicked is bad enough but something as precious as that just boils my piss.

Here's hoping it gets found again

Les, what was the outcome to your fiasco with security? They were pretty useless from what I observed. Lol.

official complaints where registered

although there is no way of knowing if they reached the company involved.

we all know some people say one thing ..but do another..
will have to wait and see

personaly id like to get peeps together and boycott the beertent if the same so called security company is working there again

if they worked for me id sack em on the spot........
seen some things in the last five years that couldve started real riots.........especialy with he so called boss of the company and his attitude ..who happens to be the one who has the complaint against him ...............

we can but hope i spose. They were definetly not the brightest sparks. I was reversing to let a landy and trailer through and he wanted me to park, couldn't get his head round the fact something was coming the other way. Lol. I'd rather not have a head on crash.

Good luck Les, lets hope someone does sort it.

Gobsmacked.
I'd break their f***ing legs if I caught them. Lets all keep an eye out, Mick and his lads are a great bunch. We don't want this to set a trend, although I'm also concerned with the whole security of the show.

Hope the truck turns up, good luck with that

As for security at the show they seemed pretty useless to me too, where was the help with moving
gear to the display areas, the security seemed to aimlessly driving around on quads but didnt
seem to want to stop and help transport stuff even though we were told that they would and i asked
a few of them ??

I was left moving stuff from the carpark myself which took hours, most of the security staff seemed
young kids to me, probably students, i work in the security industry myself and was shocked
at the age and calibre of the "security" crew there, no way had all of them got SIA badges, as for
problems by the beer tent, i agree that something should be done as the security only seemed to add
fuel to the fire, i remember being there a few year ago and security were winding the re-enactors up
and going round threatening people, its not good
