Here are some pics from our last year training. We participated with other groups in a weekend of training and manoeuvres. We marched with full gear including full ammo load with real ammo weight, Iron ration and personal items. It was a though weekend plenty of marching and some combat too. Especially interesting was the night patrol, we were lucky and captured an enemy scout and ambushed the enemy head elements . All in all an excellent weekend with all the Kameraden from ACCUH and GJ. 100.

It was as Albert says, a really nice and hard training.

That was the first time I carried the "real" weight that a "number 2" was supposed to had (2 Fully loaded ammo cans plus extra belt and spare barrel + full equip.); It was a real challenge but when you finish the weekend few points of view changes
