I see that Spearhead (barrylyndon28) is selling splinter pattern zeltbahns. Does anyone have any opinions on them?

Weight of material?
Quality of print?
The small details?
Etc.?

David

A bit pish that they dont show it laid out flat, to see the pattern in its entirety and the cut/layout of the buttons/grommets.

Barry was helpful and sent me a couple of close-ups of his new zeltbahn:

The fabric looks strong and tightly enough woven. Question to those that own originals, does it compare well to them?
The buttons are obviously 3-hole. The colors look good as well. His ebay listing shows a nice contrast between light side/darker side.

The price is high, but not the end of the world. This might be a case of getting what you pay for?? I might take the plunge......Hmmmm, time will tell.
