Guys, this event is looking to be THE major event of the ear! As far as Living History is concerned, that is!
There are a lot of people within our community, putting a hell of a lot of effort into the event. So, one little thing we can ALL do, is to start learning the German names of those in your group. Also, i ask that you learn the rank structure of your unit. Learn the order of rank, and refer to this when addressing those who hold it.
These are small things, but, it helps the scenario. It also makes it more of an enjoyable experience for us all.
As for those who hold the ranks of JNCO,SNCO and OFFICER. This is a time when you need to show you deserve those ranks attributed to you. You need to get your thinking heads on, and take orders,be able to execute them and at the same time be able to motivate your troops, ensuring that the scenario stays on track.
Not meaning to get all serious about it,just yet..ha. But, please consider what i've said above and begin to adopt it from now on. Come "the day of the races", we should be speaking fluent German.
Or, at least know eachothers names..!

And spell Year correctly ...
Good post Manny, why not push for that little bit more in realism?..There now are 4 German dressed photographers that will be going about the business of reassuring the German folk at home that the Reich IS indeed still sweeping the battle field clear of German foes... Some of which will be film...so don't really want hear Essex accents giving charlie large orders to Heer units..
