LOL, of course Ill use proper poles etc. Ive emailed Panther to ask if those are their own manufacture, if they are then a few extra quid is fine with me. I just dont want the sturm ones with the wrong print thats all.

Panther-Stores Zelts are of his own manufacture. Definately good, but I'm with Stig with regards to mixing them up in terms of pattern if you want to make a tent. But then I'm a mix and match freak when it comes to camo patterns.

The Sturm oak isnt such a bad print, it's their splinter A that is weak. Its the rest of the zelt that lets it down, poor buttons, poor button holes, indifferent grommets etc.
The ones on Panthers website are not Sturm.

Panther-Store makes almost everything on their website themselves.

Yupp. The only thing I'm not sure whether he makes or not is shirts - going by the difference in 'standards' versus his Tunics. My shirt sleeves are long in comparison to the tunics I have from him. Still a very good shirt however.

RAUnderwood has 4 correct length poles [370mm] for £20. Post war but identical.
Repro metal pegs he has at 4 for £15.
You might want to find some of the wood pegs with the little spigot on the side.
They are great for pulling the sides of the tent out.

Handy in soft soil or sand but not really correct.
SoF have the correct peg, TR855, £6 each but they are good for WW1 and WW2.

Just a short question guys, do you use wirings in UK? If we open up a UK bank account with an UK bank could you wire there free of charges? Do you use national wiring - or is it only CC or paypal that you use? Good week-end to every body, Heiko

I only use cards or paypal personally for dealing with shops. Anything else is a pain for me. International bank transfers cost me 40-50 pound per transaction at the bank. **** that.

Yes, we can but we dont very often.
I pay my accountant by transferring money into her account and pay the tax man the same way.
It would be easier/cheaper than an international transfer using iBan which costs I think £9 per transaction.
Very easy to do on-line.
