Accurate Zeltbahn Reproduction?

Post by SchutzeHagemann »

Does anyone know a manufacturer who produces an accurate reproduction of the Zeltbahn? I do not know how Sturm fairs now and days. Last time I saw one 2 years ago it was a pretty poor copy. I am currently using a 1939 dated Zelt and would prefer to retire it to my collection. Thanks guys!

SM Wholesale through 1944 Militaria, or Panther-Store.cz are the best, bar none.

At panther store, is it the tropical one that everyone likes?

The "Tropical" one Panther-store sells is just a browner shade variation of the Heer zelt. There is no problem with using it for a continental impression.

Zib-Militaria has his own Repro of the Zeltbahn 31.
It is not bad and the price is same as Sturm, but better quality.

That isnt a bad looking repro at all.
It has 3 hole buttons and a much better print than the Strum version that has the errors.
The button pitch changes where it should so it will button to originals.
I might invest in one to have a look.

If you do purchase one, please come back and let us know what you think, even for us in the US that is a very good price for a reproduction that is a higher quality than Sturm.

Zib are back to only accepting iBan from the UK.
Not the easiest or cheapest option for UK customers.
I dont really want to pay the extra to the bank plus you can only do it during weekday business hours with my bank.
Life can be easy but in this case it isnt.

Lovely! Is he still doing the 4 zelt deals? I was thinking about that for getting splinter zelts.

Here's my Oakleaf/planetree 5/6 bitsa Zelt from Panther Store, excuse the patch!

Yes.. its € 283 for 4 Splinter and € 313 for 4 Oakleaf..

That patch makes it unique and as authentic as any other period repaired Zelt.. no need to excuse ;)

I have just sold away my Oakleaf from panther-store when i changed from SS to HEER. It is among the best repro things i have owned.
