Wearing pea-dot trousers with field grey tunic
Wearing pea-dot trousers with field grey tunic
Hi all.
Just want to see if there's any evidence that you'd see the waffen SS wearing pea-dot trousers (or any type of camo trousers) with a grey field tunic whilst out in the field? Has anyone got a picture and proof of this? Cheers Danny

Yes,it is accurate, along with a number of combos,
Re: Wearing pea-dot trousers with field grey tunic
Thankyou. There's a picture of me at victory show wearing pea dot trousers with just grey tunic with all my gear on and I wanted to make sure that was correct as I've had a comment elsewhere saying it's wrong. Cheers (please post a picture of evidence if anyone has one thanks)

Re: Wearing pea-dot trousers with field grey tunic
cheers john.
is there any photo evidence of them wearing their Y straps/belt/ammo pouches etc over thier field grey (whilst wearing camo trousers) as this looks like theyve just been captured as they dont have no equipment attached. ive seen plenty of lads posing in camo trousers and field grey tunic but not wearing the combo in action. only seen pictures of a painted model or a reenactor wearing the above stated.
the point of this post is, someone commented to me saying.. quote "why would you go out in the field wearing camo trousers and a field grey tunic.whats the point in that.?"
cheers danny.

Well, if that man was just captured, he obviously just came from the front. :p

They could have stripped him of his smock as they bandaged his head

nice thread, good pics JW!
Re: Wearing pea-dot trousers with field grey tunic
Thanks Jan but I think your missing my main point as they are not wearing Y-straps/ammo pouches/helmet etc in the camo trousers/tunic combination. Cheers Danny
