I am the bane of pointy stick forums, thrice banned for honesty, hater of internet re enactors ( you know, the ones that know everything but never do an event).

I've heared Kriegsmarine diveing helmets keeps the Russian dust also out your eyes... When you polish the helmet you can signal the Stuka pilots where the Russian partisans are!ssparatrooper wrote:dont you mean post war russian pilot goggles because there cheap? lol
Very authentic...
Re: Pet hates?
Most of these already mentioned I suppose, anyhow
1.Long haired reenactors, sideburns, modern facial hair that is unsuitable for the age, rank and uniform
2.ALL the British paras wearing berets instead of jump helmets (discarding protection?)
3.East german canteens
4.Schützen armed with mp40
5.White side of parkas used without snow
I think that's all, for now...

Clean uniform polished boots and dirty faces, Schutze wearing "crusher caps", using the term "crusher cap" for every type of peaked cap, and as mentioned above schutze toting around mp40's. That about sums it up!

dogs, they hate dogs. And empty food bowls.
Two faced people, people who moan about what you do, but offer no alternative or the initiative to do it themselves.
